The personal lives of Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and his wife, Dhanashree Verma, have become the center of media attention following their ongoing divorce proceedings. While reports have circulated suggesting a Rs 60 crore alimony demand, Dhanashree’s family has categorically denied these claims, calling them "completely false and irresponsible."

Setting the Record Straight

In a strongly worded statement, a member of Dhanashree’s family urged the media to avoid spreading baseless rumors.

"There is no truth to these reports. No such demand has been made, nor has any offer been considered. Publishing misleading information not only impacts the individuals involved but also their families. We appeal for privacy and responsible reporting."

This response comes amid a flurry of speculative news about the couple’s separation, with some sources even claiming that the divorce is already finalized. However, Dhanashree’s legal team has clarified that the matter is still ongoing in court.

Legal Team Urges Caution

Dhanashree’s lawyer, Aditi Mohan, emphasized that the case is still in progress and that misleading reports could complicate the situation.

"The matter is sub judice, and I will not comment on ongoing proceedings. However, I strongly urge media outlets to verify facts before reporting unverified claims," she said in an official statement.

Emotional Posts on Social Media

Both Chahal and Dhanashree have turned to social media to share cryptic messages, seemingly alluding to their personal struggles.

Chahal wrote: “God has protected me more times than I can count. I can only imagine the times I’ve been rescued that I don’t even know about.”

Dhanashree, on the other hand, shared an uplifting message about faith: “From stressed to blessed. If you're worrying about something today, you have a choice—to keep stressing or to surrender it to God and pray. There is power in faith.”

What’s Next?

With the legal battle still ongoing, both Chahal and Dhanashree have maintained a dignified silence regarding the specifics of their separation. Meanwhile, their family members and legal representatives have urged respect for privacy during this time.

As the proceedings unfold, one thing remains certain—both sides want to move forward without unnecessary media speculation.
