Abu Dhabi – Etihad Airways has officially opened bookings for flights between Zayed International Airport (AUH), Abu Dhabi, and Kualanamu International Airport (KNO), Medan, marking the airline’s latest expansion into North Sumatra, Indonesia.
New Route Details
The airline will commence operations on this route from October 2, 2025, with flights scheduled to run three times a week. The service will be operated using Etihad’s new A321LR aircraft, which is designed to provide passengers with an enhanced travel experience.
Expanding Global Reach
Medan is one of 14 new destinations announced by Etihad Airways this year, with additional routes expected to be unveiled in the coming months. The expansion aligns with Etihad’s strategy to strengthen connectivity between Abu Dhabi and key international markets.
