Apple has officially previewed iOS 26 at its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), introducing a wave of new features and design updates aimed at enhancing user experience—especially for UAE users. The update brings powerful AI-driven capabilities under "Apple Intelligence" and a visual overhaul led by the new “Liquid Glass” aesthetic.
Among the most anticipated additions is live translation, allowing real-time multilingual communication across FaceTime, Messages, and Phone calls—all processed on-device to protect privacy. This feature is set to be a game-changer for users in multilingual regions like the UAE.
Liquid Glass, a key design innovation in iOS 26, introduces a dynamic, translucent visual effect to icons and widgets, extending across the Lock and Home Screens. The Lock Screen will also adapt its layout based on wallpapers and time, offering an immersive, personalized interface.
