This latest model aims to strengthen Dzire’s position as the leading sub-4-meter compact sedan in the Indian market, boasting over 27 lakh units sold to date. The new Dzire brings significant enhancements, including a 5-star Global New Car Assessment Programme (GNCAP) crash test rating and best-in-segment mileage, addressing previous safety concerns.

Pricing and Variants

The 2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire is available in four distinct variants to cater to a wide range of preferences:

  • LXI

Automatic transmission options are available across all variants except the base LXI. Additionally, the VXI and ZXI trims come equipped with factory-fitted CNG kits, enhancing fuel efficiency. Maruti Suzuki is also introducing a flexible subscription model for the new Dzire, starting at ₹18,248 per month, providing customers with more ownership options.

Engine and Performance

Powering the new Dzire is the updated Z12E engine, a 3-cylinder unit borrowed from the latest-generation Swift. This engine delivers a peak power of 82 Hp and a maximum torque of 112 Nm, ensuring a balanced performance. Maruti Suzuki emphasizes the engine’s efficiency, offering impressive mileage figures:

Notable additions include an electric sunroof and a 360-degree camera, elevating the driving experience. The trunk space has been expanded to 382 liters, providing ample storage for daily needs.

Safety and Technology

Safety is a key focus for the new Dzire, which has achieved a full 5-star GNCAP crash test rating. Standard safety features across all variants include:

In terms of technology, the Dzire is equipped with a large 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system supporting wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Additional features include keyless entry and go, ensuring a seamless and connected driving experience.

Mileage and Efficiency

The new Dzire stands out in its segment with exceptional mileage. The CNG variants offer an impressive 33.73 km/kg, making it an economical choice for budget-conscious buyers. Overall, the Dzire combines reliability with high fuel efficiency, reinforcing Maruti Suzuki’s reputation for producing dependable vehicles.

With comprehensive upgrades in safety, performance, and design, the 4th-gen Maruti Suzuki Dzire is set to maintain its leadership in the sub-4-meter sedan segment.
