Rekha Gupta has been officially declared as the Chief Minister of Delhi, with Parvesh Verma appointed as the Deputy Chief Minister. The political landscape of the capital undergoes a major shift with this leadership change, ushering in a new era of governance.

Grand Oath-Taking Ceremony

The swearing-in ceremony took place at Raj Niwas, attended by key political figures, bureaucrats, and party workers. Rekha Gupta, known for her deep-rooted political experience, took the oath as the new CM, promising transparent and people-centric governance.

"Our focus will be on solving Delhi’s long-standing problems and ensuring a better quality of life for every citizen. From pollution control to better infrastructure, we are committed to bringing positive change," said Gupta in her first address.

Parvesh Verma: Deputy CM with a Strong Vision

Parvesh Verma, an influential leader with years of experience in governance, has been assigned the role of Deputy Chief Minister. He will be working closely with CM Rekha Gupta to drive critical reforms in urban planning, law enforcement, and public services.

Speaking on his appointment, Verma stated, "Our team will work tirelessly to ensure Delhi progresses on all fronts. We will introduce new policies aimed at improving civic services and economic development."

Government’s Immediate Plans

The newly formed government has identified major issues that need urgent attention:

  • Public Transport Enhancement: Strengthening metro and bus connectivity.
  • Pollution Control: Implementing stricter measures to combat air and water pollution.
  • Healthcare and Education: Investing in public hospitals and upgrading school infrastructure.
  • Safety and Law Enforcement: Improving policing to ensure women’s and public safety.

With a new team at the helm, Delhi’s residents are looking forward to policy changes and improvements in governance. The coming weeks will be crucial in defining the direction of the new administration.
